Program Description
Uni-Data and Communications text messages are intended for use during support requests that you initiate via email, phone/SMS, Microsoft Teams Messaging, our ticketing system, or through our website Contact Form. We may use text messaging to communicate with you to troubleshoot, or provide updates to, your issues or answer questions that you may have.
Uni-Data and Communications text messages are NOT intended to provide you with marketing and promotional information regarding Uni-Data and Communications products and services. We do NOT use a subscription platform or service to provide autodial/automatic text messages.
Message Frequency
The number of Uni-Data and Communications text messages that you receive will vary depending on your support issue, the time to resolution of your support issue, and your communication with the Uni-Data and Communications support team.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply to each text message sent or received in connection with Uni-Data and Communications text messages, as provided in your mobile telephone service rate plan (please contact your mobile telephone carrier for pricing plans), in addition to any applicable roaming charges. Uni-Data and Communications does not impose a separate fee for sending Uni-Data and Communications text messages; however, you are responsible for any fees imposed by your mobile carrier of any kind whatsoever.
How to Opt-In
To consent to receive text messages from Uni-Data and Communications please verbally consent when you speak with your support representative or account manager. For example, during a support call, your support representative may say "I need to send you a text message to assist with the troubleshooting of your issue, do you agree to receive text messages from Uni-Data and Communications?". You also automatically agree to receive text messages from Uni-Data and Communications if you initiate the communication via text messaging.
How to Opt-Out
To stop receiving text messages from Uni-Data and Communications, text STOP to the number you are receiving text messages from. You acknowledge that you may then receive one (1) final message from Uni-Data and Communications confirming your opt-out of text messaging. Following such confirmation message, your number will be placed on our BLOCK LIST and no additional text messages will be sent to you unless you reinitiate communications with Uni-Data and Communications and consent to receiving text messages.
Your Mobile Telephone Number
You represent that you are the account holder for the mobile telephone number(s) that you communicate with. You are responsible for notifying Uni-Data and Communications immediately if you change your mobile telephone number.
You agree to indemnify Uni-Data and Communications in full for all claims, expenses, and damages related to or caused in whole or in part by your failure to notify Uni-Data and Communications if you change your telephone number including, but not limited to, all claims, expenses, and damages related to or arising under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
Access or Delivery to Mobile Network is Not Guaranteed
It is your responsibility to determine if your mobile carrier supports text messaging and if your mobile device is capable of receiving text messages. Your receipt of our text messages is subject to the terms and conditions of your agreement(s) with your mobile carrier.
Delivery of information and content to a mobile device may fail due to a variety of circumstances or conditions. You understand and acknowledge that network services, including but not limited to mobile network services, are outside of Uni-Data and Communications control, and Uni-Data and Communications is not responsible or liable for issues arising from such network services (e.g., delayed or undelivered messages or the security of any messages).
Supported Carriers
Supported carriers may change from time to time, but currently include AT&T, Sprint/Boost,/Virgin, T-Mobile/MetroPCS, Verizon Wireless, among others.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Eligibility
To receive Uni-Data and Communications text messages, you must be a resident of the United States and 18 years of age or older. Uni-Data and Communications reserves the right to require you to prove that you are at least 18 years of age.
